Attendance - Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions
Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 1, 2026
1. Data Ownership and Infrastructure
This Attendance App operates on a User-Owned Infrastructure model. We do not host your business data on centralized servers. All attendance records, company profiles, and configurations are stored directly within a Google Spreadsheet created inside your personal Google Drive account.
2. Information Processing and Technical Access
To provide functional attendance validation and automation, the App requires the following:
- Location & Network Metadata: The App processes latitude, longitude, Wi-Fi SSID, and IP Address information to verify check-ins.
- Master Script Access: For the App to automate sheet formatting and data synchronization, the App grants "Editor" access of the generated spreadsheet to our master technical service account. This access is strictly used by the system to run the Apps Script necessary for the App to function. We do not manually monitor or download your personal business data via this technical bridge.
3. Strict Financial Privacy
To protect user and employee privacy, this app does not collect, track, or calculate salary data. Users are strictly prohibited from performing salary or wage calculations within the linked spreadsheet to maintain the security and privacy of financial information.
4. Data Sharing and Security
- Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell or trade your data. Your information is only shared with the Google Drive API and the designated master script account required for app functionality.
- Access Control: Users are advised not to share spreadsheet access with unauthorized individuals to prevent data integrity breaches.
Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: June 1, 2026
1. Connection Integrity and Maintenance
- Structural Restrictions: To prevent synchronization errors, users must not rename spreadsheet tabs after submission. Modifying tab names will break the link between the App and the data source.
- Service Permissions: You acknowledge and authorize the App to grant "Editor" permissions to our master technical account. This is a functional requirement to run the backend script. Manually revoking this permission will result in the immediate failure of App services.
2. User Responsibilities
- File Identification: Users must provide a unique file name during setup to ensure correct workspace mapping.
- Acceptable Use: You agree to use this App solely for attendance and location validation. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with local labor and privacy laws.
3. Limitation of Liability
The App acts as an interface for the Google Sheets API. We are not liable for:
- Data loss resulting from the manual deletion of files or tabs in Google Drive.
- Errors caused by manual modification of the spreadsheet's internal structure.
- Unauthorized access resulting from the user sharing their Google account credentials or spreadsheet permissions.
